Hey Guys! The Chicago Marathon weekend is almost here!!!! YAY!!!! I've attached some docs with ALL the info you need for the expo and the marathon (expo booth info, where to meet on Sunday, maps, public transportation info, etc.) Some of the information is for the runners, so you can disregard that since it doesn't pertain to you. The Imerman Angels Runner Details Packet doc below (the last document) has TONS of info for you. For volunteers, you can skip to page 4. If you are volunteering on Sunday between the hours of 9am and 11am PLEASE let me know if you prefer to work the tent or cheer on Team IA at the Charity Block Party. Almost all of you have let me know, there are only a few people that I am unsure of. Be sure to check this site often, for last minute updates. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Also, make sure you have my number in your phone JUST IN CASE you can't find us, have to cancel, etc. If I don't answer on Sunday, try texting, sometimes that works better. Last year, I had a few problems with reception, SOOOOO many people in one area, that's expected. My cell number is 773.301.6658, email tramirez@imermanangels.org. If you are scheduled to work before 10am, they may not let you in without a wristband. I will have the wristbands with me. We have people coming in at 5am, 6am and 10am. If you are going to the Charity Block Party, you should be okay without a wristband, but to get into the IA tent, you will need a wristband. I suggest you print this page to show it to security JUST IN CASE. I will be at the entrance with the bands at 5am, 6am and 10am. If you have any questions concerning this, let me know. If you are going straight to the Charity Block Party, you will NOT need a wristband!
